Camlane for Android

The camera side. Install it on each phone or tablet you want to use as a camera. Google Play is in closed testing; until it opens, install the APK.

Set it up

  1. Download the APK on the phone

    Open camlane.live/download/android on the phone and tap Download APK.

  2. Allow the install

    Android asks once to allow installs from your browser. You can turn that off again afterwards.

  3. Open Camlane and pair

    Allow the camera, microphone and notifications, tap your computer and type the PIN it shows.

Good to know

  • Android 8.0 or newer, phones and tablets.
  • One banner ad per screen, never over the camera picture or a control. Nothing is locked. See how ads fund Camlane.
  • Google Play is in closed testing. Updating: install the new APK over the old one; pairing and settings stay.

Next: the computer

The phone streams to the Camlane desktop app: Windows, macOS or Linux.
